Durham Public Schools (the "District") is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide student reengagement and re-enrollment services aimed at recruiting students back into the District’s public schools. The District has experienced enrollment declines due to factors including, but not limited to, mobility, disengagement, alternative schooling options, homeschooling, and post-pandemic attendance challenges. The District is committed to ensuring all school-aged students have access to high-quality public education and seeks a strategic partner with demonstrated expertise in outreach, engagement, data analysis, and student/family support to help identify, locate, and successfully re-enroll eligible students. The purpose of this RFP is to identify a vendor that can: ● Identify students who have disengaged, withdrawn, or not re-enrolled ● Conduct targeted, culturally responsive outreach to students and families ● Address barriers to re-enrollment ● Support successful placement and transition back into District schools ● Increase overall enrollment, attendance, and student persistence
