Scope of Services in accordance with ATTACHMENT I, attached hereto. The City is currently engaged in developing the next phase of the Great Park, which will feature new park amenities, cultural attractions, streetscapes, and large expanses of passive recreation space. Guided by the Great Park Framework Plan, hundreds of acres of outdoor spaces are in varying stages of design development. Construction for four sites including the Cultural Terrace, Perimeter Park, Bosque, and Loop Road Landscape is planned to begin in late 2025 (reference ATTACHMENT IV for site locations). Planting at these sites is planned to begin in Summer 2026 as referenced in the project schedule ATTACHMENT III. The purpose of this procurement is to ensure the availability of high-quality trees that meet the specified species, size, and quality requirements established in the approved planting Lists. Due to the large quantities and specialized species needed, some materials may require contract growth in addition to sourcing from existing nursery stock. Trees must meet all applicable standards, caliper size, table of nursery stock characteristics (ATTACHMENT V), and project requirements, including ANSI Z60.2 (American Standard for Nursery Stock) (reference ATTACHMENT II for plant list). Other Details MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR PROPOSAL SUBMITTAL Firms who fail to meet the minimum qualifications set forth below should not submit a proposal; any such proposal shall be deemed non-responsive and not be considered. 1) Minimum five (5) years of experience performing similar services to those detailed in the Scope of Services section of this RFP. 2) Provide a copy of a valid Nursery Certification and License to Grow or Sell Nursery Stock (issued by the California Department of Food and Agriculture) as part of the proposal. 3) Provide evidence that your firm will engage with an ISA Certified Arborist during the performance of the services.
