Description

The Department of Health seeks disposal and removal services for radioactive sources. Vendors with experience in hazardous material handling and environmental compliance would bid.

The Department of Health, Bureau of Radiation Control has a need to purchase disposal and removal services of radioactive sources (CDV 794, CDV 793 Irradiators, QSA Global 880D and Global 660B). The Bureau of Radiation Control must comply with Source Collection and Threat Reduction (SCATR) program to dispose of sealed sources of unused radioactive sources of radiation. In accordance with Chapter 60A-1.045, Florida Administrative Code, The Bureau of Radiation Control Environmental Section requests authorization to purchase as a single source, disposal and removal services of radioactive sources from Bionomics, Inc.
